In
Summer 2001 premises were obtained near Green Hammerton on
the A59. This coincided with founder AFD member Sam Blacker's
decision to give up farming and to take up the running of
AFD with the assistance of fellow founder member and farmer
Stuart Beaton.
Over
the past 2 years, the range of produce has steadily grown
and we now stock a complete range of meat, fruit, vegetables,
cheeses, preserves, cakes and juices - plus much, much more.
The
launch of the website in Winter 2002, will enable us to supply
an even wider audience and will mark the end of a very busy
and rewarding year.
